How does it help me get work?
The Matchbox program has been developed in accordance with the Core Skills for Development Framework, which has been endorsed by government and industry as providing the set of non-technical skills, knowledge and understandings that underpin successful participation in work. In addition, the Matchbox program gives participants an insight into the strategies used by the advertising industry to communicate with impact and stand out in the competitive job market. 2. Get on My Cloud: Participants set up a free and functional cloud-based environment (email; file storage; calendar; address book) for managing their career.
3. The Employability Skills Package: Participants develop capacity in the key workplace skills required by employers.
4. Landing It: Participants increase their chances of landing a job through real-life exercises in Job Search; Applications and Interviews; and managing their Social Media profile.
